Shrnutí: The Séance tries to use a television to communicate with Spaceboy about being captured by Hazel and Cha-Cha. Finding out about his attempt, Hazel shoots The Séance. The Boy tells The Rumor about his time in the future. He was captured by Temps Aeternalis, an agency that preserves the time continuum and recruits "anomalies" like him to serve as agents. The Boy was assigned to assassinate President Kennedy but rebelled. Spaceboy flies to where the Séance was held and finds him dead. Hazel attacks Spaceboy, while The Séance teeters betweens life and death. Carmichael, The Boy's former superior, arrives to force him to carry out the Kennedy assassination, holding his biological mother as leverage. The Rumor accompanies him.
